Royal Thai Consulate-General and Tourism Authority of Thailand Mumbai Office opened a Thai stall at Worldfest 2014 in Lavasa, Pune. The stall was filled with activities to PR and promote Thai culture and tourist destination especially her seaside and island destinations such as Krabi, Phang-nga, Chang Island, and Samui Island. The stall was built and decorated to replicate a beach in Thailand. There were also cultural activities, for example, Thai music performance, Thai dances, simple handicraft-making demonstration, and Thai food.

Worldfest 2014 received dance troupes and teams from from ten countries: Ethiopia, Slovenia, Brazil, Egypt, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Lithuania, Poland and Thailand.
