On 15 February 2014, the Royal Thai Consulate-General joined Anada Wine Festival 2014 at the Club, Mumbai, to promote Thai food and related food products in India in accordance with the country’s policy, “Thai Kitchen of the World”.

The Consulate-General opened a Thai food stall serving Som Tum (spicy raw papaya salad), Tom Yum (spicy soup), Kaeng Ped (red curry), Kaeng Kiew Waan (green curry), chicken on toast and spring rolls, to guests as well as organised Thai cooking demonstration and showcasing Thai food products e.g. curry pastes and Thai dipping sauces.

Thai food received warm welcome from both Indian and expats in Mumbai, especially the rice paper fresh spring roll, Tom Yum and sweet chili sauce.
