Thai Consulate and Four Seasons Mumbai co-organised a Thai cooking demonstration

On 9 November 2013, the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Four Seasons Mumbai co-organised a Thai cooking class for food bloggers and columnists in Mumbai to promote Thai culinary. Thai chef, Ms. Seefah, from Four Seasons demonstrated the three popular recipes: veg. red curry, chicken green curry and spicy papaya salad.

The activity provided an opportunity for participants to cook along with the chef. The direct experience gained by doing gave the guests better understanding about Thai foods.

In addition, the guests were served Thai lunch with the Thai chef presenting and giving information of each dish, including her signature “steamed Chilean Sea Bass with yellow bean and ginger sauce”. The appetiser was deep-fried vermicelli in sweet and sour sauce. The meal ends with the gentle sweetness of Tri-colour rice dumpling in coconut milk.
