The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai Participates in Senior School Indus Day 2025 at Indus International School, Pune

 

On 8 March 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai participated in the Senior School Indus Day 2025 at Indus International School, Pune. Mr. Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Mumbai, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.

 

This event provided a platform for students to showcase their talents in academics, arts, and leadership, reflecting the school's commitment to provide well-rounded education. The event also featured cultural performances by students from Thailand, India, and South Korea. A total of 18 Thai students collaborated with 12 Indian students to perform the "Four Regions Dance", which was highly praised by the audience. The Thai students choreographed the entire performance, prepared their own costumes, and rehearsed for over two months – demonstrating their creativity, teamwork, and ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment.

 

On this occasion, the Consul-General congratulated the school on the success of the event and emphasised the importance of learning in a diverse and multicultural society, as well as the developing leadership skills and teamwork among youth. The Royal Thai Consulate-General remains committed to supporting Thai students in India and deepening educational and cultural cooperation between Thailand and India.
