Announcement : Quarantine Period in Thailand

The Royal Thai Consulate-General, Mumbai wishes to announce the quarantine period in Thailand effective from 1 October 2021 as follows.

1. Fully vaccinated travelers

The quarantine period shall be at least 7 days for travelers who are fully vaccinated with vaccines approved by Thai authorities at least 14 days prior to their departure date. The approved vaccines are as follows.

- CoronaVac (Sinovac Biotech Ltd.)

- AstraZeneca or Covishield (AstraZeneca & University of Oxford / SK Bioscience (Korea) / Siam Bioscience / Serum Institute of India (SII))

- Pfizer – BioNTech COVID-19 or Comimaty (Pfizer Inv., & BioNTech)

- Janssen or Janssen/Ad26.COV2.S (Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc.)

- Moderna (Moderna Inc.)

- Sinopharm or COVILO (Sinopharm Co., Ltd.)

- Sputnik V (Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology)

2. Not vaccinated or not fully vaccinated travelers

The quarantine period shall be at least 10 days for travelers who are unvacinated and who are not fully vaccinated.

3. Children under the age of 18 who are not vaccinated and are traveling together with fully vaccinated parents or guardians can be quarantined with the same period as their parents or guardians.

All fully vacinated travelers from India who got vaccination in India are requested to submit a clear vaccine certificate generated by CoWin at the time of COE registration.
