On Thursday 15 September 2016, The Consulate-General of Thailand in Mumbai organized a Thai cooking demonstration class at Agnel Institute for Food Crafting and Culinary Science with the participation of over 30 students, potential investors in Thai restaurants, as well as Thai nationals and families. Besides presenting the menu which included Padthai, Tom Yum Shrimps, Chicken Green Curry, among others, the Thai chef also provided the audience with basic knowledge about Thai food as well as tips on how to find and prepare ingredients.
