On Thursday 13 September 2016, Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Consul General of Thailand in Mumbai, met with President, Managing Committee and members of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) to discuss on ways to increase trade and investment between Thailand and Goa. The Goa side expressed interest in the MOU on cooperation between GCCI and Thai Chamber of Commerce or Federation of Industries as framework for future cooperation and partnership between Thailand and Goa, especially in potential sectors such as tourism and hospitality, restaurants, Thai spa and massage, food processing, aquaculture, e-commerce, IT, and logistics.
