Royal Thai Consulate-General invited two lecturer chefs from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University, Bangkok, to demonstrate Thai cooking in an intensive Thai cooking course organised by the Consulate-General in Mumbai from 27 - 30 July 2014 targeting at interested Indian chefs. Twelve chefs from prestigious restuarants or hotels serving Thai food in Mumbai participated in the course even though more has shown keen interest in participating.

The Consulate-General in association with Suan Dusit Rajabhat University also published a Thai cooking book in dual languages : English - Hindi in order to further promote Thai food in India.
