On 3 October 2016, Mr. Ekapol Poolpipat, Consul General of Thailand in Mumbai paid a courtesy call on Mr. Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat. Mr. P.K. Taneja, Additional Chief Secretary to Government of Gujarat, Industries and Mines Department and Ms. Mamta Verma, Industries Commissioner also participated in this meeting. Both side agreed to encourage cooperation between Thailand and Gujarat, especially in economics, trade and investment, technical cooperation, and culture.
