Thai Consul-General in Mumbai accompanies Thailand Trade Representative and her delegation to meet Mr. Noel Tata, Managing Director of Tata International Ltd.

On 12 October 2011, Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Thai Consul-General in Mumbai led H.E. Dr. Nalinee Taveesin, Thailand Trade Representative to meet Mr. Noel Tata, Managing Director of Tata International Ltd. and executive members of subsidiary companies of Tata Group at Tata International Ltd.’s office in Mumbai. Both sides exchanged views on the possibility of promoting Tata Group’s business expansion in Thailand in various sectors such as using Thailand as Tata automobile manufacturing base for exporting to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, taking advantage of economic stimulus plan of the Royal Thai Government by promoting the first car owner with tax reduction incentive. Furthermore, Tata Group wishes to join with Thai private companies in bidding on infrastructure development projects in Africa.
