Thai Consul-General in Mumbai meets the press in Goa on Thai Food and Dance Festival 2011in Panaji, Goa, India

              On 19 August 2011, Mr. Tomwit Jarnson, Thai Consul-General in Mumbaitogether with Ms. Chitra Saleem, General Manager of Vivanta by Taj-Panaji Hotel organized a press briefing on Thai Food and Dance Festival 2011 organized by the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai in collaboration with Vivanta by Taj-Panaji Hotel at Tamari Restaurant, a five star restaurant in Vavanta by Taj – Panaji Hotel attended by 50 press members from all sectos in Goa. In this occasion, the Thai Consul-General reaffirmed the promotion of Thailand as a tourist destination for Indian familiesandencouraged Indians to organize big fat weddings in Thailand, as well as welcomed Indian film producing companies to shoot their films in Thailand. Moreover, the Thai Consul-General talked about the project to establish the relationship between Phuket Province of Thailand and Goa as twin cities due to their similarities both in their common possession of beautiful world-class beaches and their similar tourist attractions and to promote airlines in Thailand to open direct flight between Thailand and Goa in the coming years.
